The players arrived to the penthouse.  Then Clive arrived via helicopter to introduce himself & explain the first challenge.

FIRST CHALLENGE:  Design where you live on a $15,000 budget in 28 work hours.  Neeraja took control of the money.

- LARGE BEDROOM:  Will & Josh - got along great

- SMALL BEDROOM:  Christina & Adriana - did not get along,

- ENTRANCE WAY:  Lisa,

- BAR/FOYER:  Neeraja,

- LIVING ROOM/SUNK IN SPACE:  Kim, Scott & Todd,

DAY 2:  14 hours to go.

DAY 3:  8 hour left.

THE STUDIO ROOM ( Elimination Room)

SAFE:  Kim, Adriana & Christiana.

SAFE:  Will, Josh, Todd & Scott.

BOTTOM:  Neerja ( the judges thought she did nothing), Robb, Josh & Lisa.

ELIMINATED:  Lisa - the judges did not like what she did.( I disagree with judges I liked what she did).

EPISODE #2:  Dueling Kitchen.                                                                   10 Left.

START OFF:  In the Penthouse - the designers are waking up.  Scott injured his back & crying about it.

- Clive come over.              DOUBLE ELIMINATION.

PRIZE:  $5,000 Gift Card from Sears

CHALLENGE:  Duel kitchen from Real family.  Remodel. The kitchens.28  hours work time, & $10,00 budget.

NEERJA is a Captain (Sturtich family)       &                  JOSH (Organic) is the other captain. (McCarty)

JOSH TEAM:  Todd, Christina, Will & Robb.

NEERJA'S TEAM:  Scott, Kim, Josh & Adriana.

DAY 2:  14 hours remain.  Scott still crying.  Neerja is problems with her tiles.  She did not measure & is short.

DAY 3:  5 hours left.

ELIMINATION ROOM:

- Neerja's team DID NOT finish the job.

ELIMINATED:  Neerja.                                                                                   9 LEFT.

ELIMINATED:  Josh - didn't form as an captain & let his team run over him.

EPISODE #3:  .99 Cent Ways to be Creative.                                                             8 Left.

START OFF:  In the Penthouse - getting ready when Scott from a note from Clive stating:  The Adventure continues!  Meet me on the second floor of The International Academy of Design and Technology.  Do Hurry.

ARRIVED AT:  The Academy.  Clive was there.  Small cubicles of empty spaces.

CHALLENGE:  .99 Cent Reasons to be Creative.  Shop at .99 cent store with budget of $399.00 in 12 work hours.  An Individual challenge.

PRIZE:  Assist at a In Style  magazine Photo Shoot.

                                   DOUBLE ELIMINATION.

DAY 2:  5 hours left.

- Adriana thinks she should win & deserve it.

- Clive preview the rooms.

STUDIO (ELIMINATION)

SAFE:  Will, Kim, Christina..

TOP 2:  Todd & Robb.

WINNER:  Todd.

BOTTOM 3:  Adriana, Josh(Sparkle), & Scott.

ELIMINATED:  Scott & Adriana.

EPISODE #4:  I Do - Vegas Style!                                                        6 Left.

START OFF:  In the Penthouse - the designers are getting up.  Then Clive arrived.

CHALLENGE:  Highlighting their skills in both designs & presentations.

- Make Stephanie & Bruno's Dream Wedding Reception come true.

PRIZE:  Diamonds.

- Design a $10,000 reception for 75 guests.  Tomorrow present your designs to the couple & they will choose the one they like.  Become the leader to lead the team to design your design.  DOUBLE ELIMINATION.  16 work hours & $10,000 budget.

- Robb won & won the Diamonds.

ELIMINATION:  Christina - was too girly.                                               5  Left.

DAY 2:  4 hours left.

ELIMINATION ROOM (Studio)

SAFE:  Robb, Todd, & Kim.

BOTTOM:  Will & Josh.

ELIMINATED:  Josh.

EPISODE #5:  Designing for a Celebrity.                                                        4 left.

START OFF:  In the Penthouse waking up then Clive arrived with their new Challenge.

    FINAL FOUR:  Kim, Will, Robb & Todd.

CHALLENGE:  Designing for a Celebrity - Wayne Newtown.

- Picked team by paint cans - GREEN- Living Room:  Todd & Will,

                                                RED - Kitchen - Kim & Robb.

- 24 hours work, $10,000 budget & an assist of an carpenter.  Will host the rooms individually.

ARRIVED AT:  Wayne Newtown's house & was surprised they are going do his guest house.

DAY 1:  Robb & Kim are not getting along.  He think he know better to do kitchen.

DAY 2:  14 hours left.

DAY 3:  2 hours/

IN THE STUDIO: facing the Elimination:

- TOP 2:  Kim & Todd.

- BOTTOM 2:  Robb & Will.

ELIMINATED:  Robb - think he is the greatest & does not get along with others.

EPISODE #6:  Deserving Designs.                                                   3 Left.

START OFF:  In the Penthouse, Kim fixed breakfast for them.  Then Clive arrived where their next challenge.

CHALLENGE:  Redesigning rooms of 3 deserving HGTV viewers 28 work hours, $10,000 budget & assist of an carpenter. They won't know who the are until they arrived:

- Dean Family - Living Room - WV - Kim,  

- Bridget & Family - Disabled High Student want updated BR- California- Will,

- Kelly Family - 2 Fireperson & large family - Living area - Indiana - Todd.

DAY 1:  Start the work.

DAY 2:  Raining in WV & Indiana BUT Sunny in CA.

DAY 3:  Last Day of Challenge.  

BACK TO VEGAS & THE STUDIO:  for Elimination.

ELIMINATED:  Will.

      FINALS:  Kim vs. Todd.

EPISODE #7:  Island Dreams.                                                        Still 2 Left.

START OFF:  In the Penthouse still at night.  Then Clive arrived with Paint Cans.  Stating their next challenge.

CHALLENGE:  Only told them where they are going:  Hawaii staying at Outrigger Reef Hotel on Waikiki Beach.   With a budget of $10,000.

BEFORE LEAVING:  Their family arrived for a quick visit.

NEXT DAY:  Pack & Head to Hawaii.

FINAL & LAST CHALLENGE:  Island Dreams:  The hotel is under renovations but they set aside 2 suites for them to design.  32 work hours & $10,000 budget.  Then reveal it to the public for them to VOTE.  

- ADVISOR:  David Bromstad, Winner S-1.

DAY 1:  Begin work.

DAY 2:  Clive arrive with paint cans.  They will have helper:  Robb & Will.  End of day Clive gives them a laulau.

DAY 3:  11 hours of work.  The judges arrive & preview the rooms & give them some advise.  They didn't like rugs in both rooms.  Kim take up her rug but DID NOT put anything else down.  ( My opinion - I didn't like it)

DAY 4:  4 hours left.  No help.  Had to finish the room alone.  Then present it to the Public.

- Ended with America Voting.

EPISODE #8:  HGTV Design Star.                                                       2 Left.

The episode start off by being a memory lane until the when they finally reveal the winner.

                        THE WINNER IS:  KIM.
