The designers arrived to the empty townhouse in NYC.  Then Clive Pearse arrived & explained this where they are staying & decorating it is their FIRST CHALLENGE:  Design a NYC townhouse in 24 hours & budget is $7,500.00.Tym who did the patio.

THE STUDIO OR JUDGING ROOM:

SAFE:  Alice, Tym, Joseph, Temple & Teman.

SAFE:   David & Teran.

BEST:  Vanessa.

BOTTOM:  Donna & Ramona.

ELIMINATED:  Ramona.  She did a poor job on the mural.

EPISODE #2:  Designing to Sell.                                                9 Left.

START OFF:  Clive arrives in the townhouse.  The Designer were assigned paint cans to pick captains.

CHALLENGE:  Designing 3 rooms of a house to get it to sell.  Kitchen, Master Bedroom & Living Room.   Arrived at:  A House in Long Island, NY. The 3 Captains:  Donna, Joseph & Tym.

DONNA:  Kitchen:  David, Temple.

JOSEPH:  Living Room:  Vanessa& Alice.

TYM:  Tern & Teman ( the twins).

- Donna & Temple are fighting.

- Vanessa thinks she so important.

THE STUDIO:

- Both Kitchen & Living Room the judges didn't think it was change.

WINNING TEAM:  Joseph's Team.

SAFE:  Donna's Team, & Alice from Living Room.

ELIMINATED:  Joseph - he was too weak as a captain.

EPISODE #3:  Wild Design Star.                                                                            8 Left.

START OFF:  Designer's Townhouse.  They got CLIVE MAIL:  Good Morning, Designers, A van will be picking you all up to take you to next design location.  I will meet you there.  Go to the tenth floor and enter through the red door.

- The van drove onto the elevator.

CHALLENGE:  Individual Challenge- 8 identical sections.  Wild Card Design. 1 gal. of paint.  Double Elimination..  Shopping at 4 specialty stores ONLY.:  Automotive, Beauty, Pet & Camping.  11 hours.

- Pet:  Tym & David, Camping:  Alice & Teman, Beauty:  Vanessa & Teran, Auto:  Donna & & Temple.

THE STUDIO FOR JUDGING:

WINNER:  David.

SAFE:  Alice, Temple, Donna.

ELIMINATED:  Vanessa & Teman.

EPISODE #4:  10,000 Kitchen Makeover.                            6 Left.

START OFF:  Designer's Townhouse - the designer getting up.  Then Clive cam over.

CHALLENGE:  Designer's Challenge Kitchen, 24 hours & $10,000 budget.  2 will be eliminated, one after the presentation to the clients and 2nd after the job is done.  Clients are Tom & Kelley who won the makeover.   The client choose:  Temple's design.

ELIMINATED:  Teran - he couldn't explain clearly his design.                               5 Left.

ARRIVED AT:  Stratford, CONNN.  Client's house.

BACK AT THE STUDIO:  for judging.

- A lot of the projects WASN'T finish - had to send in HGTV squad to finish the job.

BOTTOM:  Donna & Temple.

ELIMINATED:  Donna.

EPISODE #5:  Designing with Color.                                                                             4 Left.

START OFF:  In the townhouse - getting ready.

      FINAL FOUR:  Temple, David, Tym & Alice.

- Clive arrives.

CHALLENGE:  Design a NYC Studio apartment.  Theme - Color.

- Temple - Yellow, David - Red, Tym - Green  & Alice - Blue.

- 24 hours budget $2,000 & the help of a carpenter.

NEXT DAY:  TWIST:  Will Host a Tour their Space to Camera.

PRIZE:  Opportunity to participate on a set of In Style magazine Photo Shoot.

- WINNER:  Alice.

ELIMINATED:  Temple.

EPISODE #6:  Create a Dream Room.                                                       3 Left.

START OFF:  In the townhouse - Clive arrives.

CHALLENGE:  Paint Can has the name of of the state where next location of their room.

- Alice - Oklahoma - Wife want to get her husband a Men's Cave,

- David - Washington - A Family Room in the basement,

- Tym - New York State - A relocated from Hurricane Katrina whom lost everything.

- 24 hours decorated time, $10,000 budget, Create a dream room, will have a carpenter.

- Tym had trouble with his carpenter - he didn't want to work so he fired  him & hired a new one.

BACK IN THE STUDIO:  for Judging.

ELIMINATED: Tym.

EPISODE #7:  Glass Houses.                                                                            The Final 2.

START OFF:  Byrant Park in New York City.  Clive is there.

The designer had a month off.  They returned & staying at:  The Byrant Park Hotel in the Penthouse.

NEXT DAY:  Clive arrives & tell little about their last challenge.

FINAL CHALLENGE:  Working in  a Glass Building set-up by the crew at Byrant Park.  The public can see them work.  26 work hours.

- Jay McCarroll of Project Runway - Winner of S- 1. helped to advise them.

DAY #2:  Clive give a chance for a helpers.

- David get Tym & Alice get Temple and the next day they will switch.

DAY #3:  Switching helper.  Still raining.  The judges visit to give some advice.

DAY #4:  Only 1 hour left.  Now, the public will vote on the winner.

EPISODE #8:  And the Winner is....                                        Still 2 Left.

START OFF:  In the Studio with an audience.

- All 10 Designers are Back.

-  Going Down Memory lane.

FINALLY THE TIME HAS COMES:  Judy Girard, President of HGTV.

    THE WINNER IS:  DAVID.
